Brand Performer: Gekko & Apple

Apple’s first Store in Store (SiS) was opened in the UK and it was delivered for the brand by Gekko.

Gekko recruited and trained the staff for the concept, initially in 2 Comet stores.

The stores sell iPods, Macs and accessories and the return on investment has been very significant. For every pound spent on the FM agency, Apple has seen a sales value of £ 15.77.

Unsurprisingly, given these results, Gekko has been entrusted with a 16 store roll out. Kevin McGann, retail sales director, Apple commented " It is always a pleasure to work with people who consistently display a very professional attitude and take pressures away from the client, which Gekko do effectively to achieve results" .
