26/04/2012 - Switchover training praised Following on from the recent completion of the Digital TV switchover in London, further proof of the effective training provided by Gekko has come to light. In Marketing magazine’s weekly We’ll Call You mystery caller article, a call through to Digital UK’s call centre is detailed. With a score of 8 out of 10, the call-handler was praised for being efficient, knowledgeable and coming ‘across as a strong advocate of the digital switchover’. Field Marketing and training agency Gekko has been working with Digital UK since 2008 providing support and training to retailers across the UK. Having won a leading award for the retail training programme in 2009, Gekko were asked to devise and develop a training programme for Digital UK’s call centre staff. The training provided has been a mix of technical and practical modules that has enabled the call centre to handle consumer enquires and provide accurate advise on the switchover process. back to news listing ![]() |
