Sales Executive (IT Distribution & Reseller)
Gekko are recruiting for a Sales Executive to work on behalf of our global technology brand within the commercial IT channel, employed and managed by Gekko.
Based in the field you will visit a number of distributor and reseller accounts, you will provide them with support and develop product/brand knowledge to maximise opportunities for a leading brand in the commercial channel.
The key responsibilities as part of your role will include but will not be limited to;
- Visit distributors and reseller partners in the field to build relationships
- Foster a strong relationship with Account Managers and sales staff
- Floor walking to uncover and develop opportunities to increase orders and sales
- Educating sales staff on the brand
- Providing informal and classroom based training sessions, on a 1:1 and group basis.
- Organising, partaking and bringing to life call out days
- Supporting channel partners and their sales staff
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Experience in working with IT Distributors and Resellers
- Sales and training experience (ideally in the technology sector)
- Passion for technology
- Ability to engage commercially
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
