Gekko is a leading field marketing company providing results-driven solutions to technology brands. We have an opportunity to join the Gekko team working with our brand, a leading technology manufacturer, as a Training Executive.
Based in the field you will visit a number of retail, reseller and distribution partners across your given region, you will provide them with support and develop product/brand knowledge to maximise opportunities for our brand in the channel.
The key responsibilities as part of your role will include, but will not be limited to;
- Visit retail, reseller and distribution partners in the field
- Build relationships with store management and sales staff
- Increase product knowledge through the delivery of effective and interactive training
- Assist in the implementation of marketing and promotional initiatives
- Develop opportunities to increase product knowledge and sales skills
- Merchandising and maintain POS
- Providing informal and classroom based training sessions
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills and experience;
- Sales and training experience (ideally in the technology sector)
- Passion for technology
- Ability to engage commercially
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Full valid driving licence required as there is a company car as part of the package.
