Finance Manager (Maternity Cover)
Gekko Group is an award winning field marketing company providing marketing solutions to the technology, lifestyle and leisure sector in the UK and Ireland. We are looking for a Finance Manager to join our team in Newbury on a 12 month maternity cover contract.
This opportunity is suited to an experienced or part qualified (AAT, ACCA or CIMA) individual looking to expand their finance career within a growing organisation. We are looking for a Finance Manager with a flexible approach and a lateral thinking who can solve problems and add value.
Reporting into the Operations Director you will be responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of finance and facilities across the Gekko Group including;
- Preparation of management accounts
- Payroll (Via Sage)
- Bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger
- Other miscellaneous finance administration functions
- Management of a Finance Assistant
To be successful in this role you will demonstrate the following skills/experience;
- Experience in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel to an advanced level
- Use of Sage finance package
- Excellent written / verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage time effectively
