To meet the challenge presented by Covid-19 and the temporary shutdown of physical retail, Gekko continue to Create Rewarding Connections for our brands through innovative e-learning and e-commerce solutions.
With bricks and mortar stores closed due to the crisis, Gekko have proactively opened up new channels of engagement with third party retail partners with a view to maintaining contact, insight and momentum with store and contact centre staff. We've reassigned our field teams to deliver live broadcast training sessions to multiple retailers including Dixons Carphone, John Lewis, EE and Vodafone. By creating LIVE video modules with two-way engagement, interactive quizzes and incentives, the target audiences have been encouraged to sign up and participate in the programme whilst working remotely.
For one of our brands, since lockdown started on the 23rd of March we have welcomed over 21,000 learners across 145 live training sessions with over 60 unique modules and gaining a massive brand share of voice against the competition. These live modules are now extended across our partners’ approved learning platforms and will increase our brand’s current reach to over 60% store coverage during the shutdown period.
